Guests check in before they land

Two days before arrival, Arrivo sends each guest a check-in link. They add their details, pay the eco contribution and get the door code. When they walk in, the TV greets them by name.

Free forever for one property, no card required.

An Arrivo TV welcome screen in a Valletta apartment greeting the guest by name, in English, Maltese and Italian, with stay dates, Wi-Fi details and a QR code to join, check-out time, a house note and the host's phone number.

Connects to Tokeet, Stripe and Revolut Business today, with 31 more available on request or planned.

What happens after someone books

You set it up once. After that, every stay runs the same way, whether it came from your PMS or a phone call.

  1. When it’s booked

    The booking arrives

From Tokeet within seconds, through the Arrivo API, or typed in by you. Arrivo creates the stay and the guest’s check-in link.

  2. Two days before arrival

    Check‑in link goes out

Guests get an email with their link. You can also copy it into WhatsApp or your PMS messages.

  3. Before they travel

The guest checks in and pays

Nationality, ID document, arrival time and your house terms, then the eco contribution by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.

  4. As soon as it’s paid

The door code and guide unlock

The arrival guide opens with the door code, Wi-Fi, directions and house rules. Nobody sees the code before checking in.

  5. When they walk in

    The TV says hello

The screen in the living room greets them by first name, with the Wi-Fi, check-out time and your phone number.

Check‑in on the guest’s own phone

No app to download. The link opens in any browser, in your theme, and asks only what you need: nationality, ID document, arrival time and a photo of the ID if you require one. Guests accept your house terms before they see the door code.

  • Check-in opens 48 hours before arrival, or earlier if you allow it
  • ID photos stay private to your team
  • Adults and children come from the booking, so the tax adds up
  • Test mode: try every step with sample bookings and pretend payments before going live
How online check-in works
The Arrivo check-in page on a phone, in the Harbour theme: nationality, passport number, arrival time, an uploaded ID photo and a ticked box accepting the house terms.

The eco contribution, collected before arrival

Arrivo works out what each stay owes at the current rate: €1.50 per adult per night, capped at €22.50 per person. Guests pay it during check-in, and their receipt shows it separately from your accommodation rate.

  • Rates are stored with the date they take effect, so the next change is an update, not a scramble
  • Waive it on bookings where the guest has already paid
  • Export each quarter’s return as a CSV for the Eco Contribution Portal

A TV that knows who just walked in

Open the Arrivo TV page on a smart TV or streaming stick, type the six-character code into your dashboard, and it’s paired. From then on it shows the guest’s name and dates, Wi-Fi with a join code, check-out time and your notes. Between stays it shows your welcome message.

  • Big type and nothing to scroll, readable from the sofa
  • Updates itself every minute
  • One screen on Free, unlimited when you pay per property

Your colours on their phone and TV

Choose Limestone, Harbour or Lido for the check-in pages, guide and TV. On Pro, add your logo and brand colour and guests see your name, not ours.

Paid into your account, not ours

Connect Stripe or Revolut Business and guest payments settle in your own account. Arrivo charges per property, not per payment, and takes nothing from each payment.

How payments work
  1. Guest pays €9.00Card, Apple Pay or Google Pay at check-in
  2. Your Stripe accountSettles under your own merchant account
  3. Your bankPaid out on your usual schedule
Arrivo records that the payment happened. It never holds the money and takes no fee from it.

Questions hosts ask us

Something else? Send us a message and we’ll answer it, usually within a working day.

Do guests need to download an app?

No. The check-in link opens in any phone browser. The TV welcome screen is a web page too, so there is nothing to install on the TV either.

I don’t use a PMS. Can I still use Arrivo?

Yes. Add bookings by hand in the dashboard and Arrivo does the rest: it emails the check-in link, collects the eco contribution and unlocks the guide. You can also copy the link into WhatsApp.

Who receives the eco contribution money?

You do. Guests pay into your own Stripe or Revolut Business account. You then pay it over with your quarterly return on the Eco Contribution Portal, and Arrivo prepares the figures for you.

My PMS isn’t live yet. What happens if I ask for it?

Tell us which system you use. We request API access from the provider and switch it on for your account, usually within a few days. Until then you can enter bookings by hand or push them through the Arrivo API.

Does Arrivo work outside Malta?

Online check-in, the arrival guide and the TV screen work anywhere. Tourist-tax collection is live for Malta and Gozo. Italy, Greece, Catalonia, Portugal and Croatia are planned.

Can someone get the door code without checking in?

No. The shareable house guide hides the door code. It only appears on the guest’s own page once they have checked in and paid.

Have your next guest check in online

Add a property, connect your booking source or type in a booking, and Arrivo sends the check-in link, collects the eco contribution and switches on the TV. Free forever for one property, no card required.
